Sweet Potato Fries

2 sweet potatoes, cut into sticks

1 egg white

1 tbsp. (15 ml) of virgin camelina oil Signé caméline

1 tsp. (5 ml) of minced garlic

1 tsp. (5 ml) of minced fresh basil

1/2 tsp. (3 ml) of paprika

Pink Himalayan salt to taste

Pepper to taste

Préparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425 °F (220 °C).
  2. In a bowl, mix all ingredients.
  3. Place the sweet potato sticks on an oiled or parchment lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes, turning sticks halfway through cooking.
  5. When serving, season to taste.
  6. Small tip for crispier fries: let sweet potatoes soak in a bowl of water for 1 to 2 hours after cutting. This should remove some of the potato starch to get a crispy texture after baking. After soaking, rinse quickly and dry with a towel or paper towels.
