2 sweet potatoes, cut into sticks
1 egg white
1 tbsp. (15 ml) of virgin camelina oil Signé caméline
1 tsp. (5 ml) of minced garlic
1 tsp. (5 ml) of minced fresh basil
1/2 tsp. (3 ml) of paprika
Pink Himalayan salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Préparation
- Preheat the oven to 425 °F (220 °C).
- In a bowl, mix all ingredients.
- Place the sweet potato sticks on an oiled or parchment lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 25 minutes, turning sticks halfway through cooking.
- When serving, season to taste.
- Small tip for crispier fries: let sweet potatoes soak in a bowl of water for 1 to 2 hours after cutting. This should remove some of the potato starch to get a crispy texture after baking. After soaking, rinse quickly and dry with a towel or paper towels.
