1/3 cup (85 ml) of almond butter
1/3 cup (85 ml) of unsweetened organic applesauce
1/4 cup (65 ml) of camelina honey Signé caméline
1/4 cup (65 ml) of maple syrup
1 tsp. (5 ml) of vanilla extract
3 eggs
15 dates (100 g), pitted and chopped
2/3 cup (170 ml) of oatmeal
1 cup (250 ml) of corn flakes (corn flakes type), crumbled
1 tsp. (5 ml) of ground cinnamon
1 tsp. (5 ml) of baking powder
2 tbsp. (30 ml) of plain camelina seeds Signé caméline
Préparation
- Preheat the oven to 350 °F (180 °C).
- Gather all liquid ingredients in a bowl (almond butter, applesauce, honey, maple syrup, vanilla extract and eggs) and mix well with a whisk. Stir in the chopped dates, then set aside.
- In a second bowl, combine and mix all dry ingredients (oats, crumbled cereals, cinnamon, baking powder and camelina seeds). Stir in the content of the first bowl and mix again.
- Pour the mixture into a 8 inch (20 cm) square pan or a 9 x 5 inch (23 x 13) cm loaf pan. Line with parchment paper. Thoroughly level the surface of the mixture with a spoon.
- Bake for 20 to 22 minutes, then cool for 5 minutes.
- Cut into 10 bars and enjoy for lunch or snack. Serve with Greek yogurt, a glass of milk or a soy beverage.
