Camelina Energy Balls

1 1/4 cup (310 ml) of oatmeal

1/2 cup  (125 ml) of unsweetened grated coconut

1/2 cup (125 ml) of plain camelina seeds Signé caméline

1 banana

1 tsp. (5 ml) of vanilla extract

1/4 tsp. (1 ml) of salt

1/3 cup (85 ml) of camelina honey Signé caméline

1 bar (48 g) of 70% dark chocolate with camelina oil Signé caméline

 

Préparation
  1. Pour the required quantity of camelina seeds in a skillet over low heat. Stir occasionally for 5 to 10 minutes.
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients into a large bowl.
  3. Mash the banana in order to obtain a puree. Add the puree, the honey and the vanilla extract to the dry ingredient mix.
  4. Once the mixture is well blended, shape the energy balls.
  5. Let them sit in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  6. In the meantime, melt the dark chocolate.
  7. Soak a part of the energy ball in the melted chocolate and garnish with grated coconut or with camelina seeds.
  8. Let them sit in the refrigerator for another 10 minutes.
